DeVine opened its doors in May of 2007, with the name being derived from the grape vines that thrive on its patio. Located in the heart of historic downtown Medicine Hat, DeVine offers casual fine dining for anyone with an appetite and an imagination. The “Communities in Bloom” award-winning patio has quickly become a hotspot for visitors and locals alike.

The globally inspired menu by Todd Lindsay changes seasonally and takes advantage of the abundance of fresh, local ingredients. From the bread to the ice cream, all menu elements are made in-house whenever possible. Even the grapes that are produced by the vines on the patio are used.

The elegant, 60-seat dining room offers everything from a romantic getaway for two to a group party setting, especially in the summer when the patio comfortably accommodates an extra 60 seats. Because of high demand, however, reservations are highly recommended for any party size throughout the year.

The dining experience is made complete by the professional and courteous service offered by front man Marc Woycechowsky and his staff. The combination of great food, fine wine and exceptional service in a casual atmosphere ensures all guests will have a unique dining experience that is unrivalled in Medicine Hat.
